Been watching the old Doctor Who series, working on my own renditions of characters and creatures. These are the Sensorites. They were in Episode 7 - The Sensorites back in the 1960s. Top one is I believe close to the original colorized version of the episode. The bottom one was my first color.

I too am working my way through classic Doctor Who and just finished the first Sensorites episode and was considering drawing my own version. Googling them for photos, I found your illustration. Well done.
